
Dr. Rob and Shara McKee are pastors of The Pentecostals of Katy. When they started the church in Katy, they always had the vision to open up a Christian school. A few years later, their dream came to fruition and now KCA has been in operation since 2007.

Cheri LaGrone has worked in education for more than 30 years. Originally from Lewisville, Texas, she moved to Katy in 2007 to start KCA. Cheri graduated from Texas Womans University in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science in Government with an emphasis on prelaw and a minor in English and Criminal Justince. Cheri graduated from Regent University in 2018 with a Masters in Education

Ryan has been in Katy since 2008 and graduated from KCA in 2011. He is 2015 alumni from Texas Bible College with a bachelor's in theology. Ryan graduated in 2023 from Hope International University with a Masters in Leadership. In 2025, Ryan earned his Doctorate of Ministry in Evangelism and Church Planting from Liberty University.
He is the husband of Hannah Bracken, who is also a teacher at KCA.
Ryan is an ordained minister with the UPCI and is a minister of the Pentecostals of Katy. During his free time, he enjoys fishing, basketball, and woodworking.

Annix Preza was born in Venezuela and has called Katy home since 1998. She and her husband, Christian, have three children, including a KCA graduate and a current KCA student. They are actively involved at The POK.
Annix brings more than a decade of experience in education, including working in Katy ISD elementary classrooms and Special Education. She has a passion for helping every child reach their God-given potential and is excited to be part of the KCA family.
In her free time, Annix enjoys writing, spending time with her family, decorating, and expressing her creativity.

Rachel is originally from Houston, Texas, and began her teaching journey in Katy, Texas. She completed her student teaching in Alief ISD during the 2025–2026 school year and graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
Rachel is passionate about teaching young children and creating engaging learning experiences that help students grow academically and personally. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys art, singing, and building meaningful connections with others. Her creativity, enthusiasm, and friendly nature allow her to make a positive impact wherever she goes.

Rachel has lived in Texas for 11 years and currently resides in Richmond with her husband, Brian, their youngest son, Seth, and grandson, Ezra.
After a 24-year nursing career in Ohio, Rachel joined KCA where she taught Kindergarten for five years and later served as the 1st and 2nd grade teaching assistant for one year.
Rachel also teaches the Kindergarten Sunday School class at POK. She and Brian have four adult children, and their two youngest children are KCA alumni.
Rachel is passionate about inspiring children to read, learn, and become the best versions of themselves.

Alissa is currently expanding her career with education and early childhood development. Although she has extensive experience with children ranging in ages from infancy to preteen she has a burden for Family and Marital Counseling. Alissa is also the Sunday school administrator for The Pentecostals of Katy.
Her hobbies include reading, photography, and snuggling with her two puppies Navi and Tino

Hannah is originally from Beaumont, TX and came to be with her husband in Katy, TX in 2015. Hannah has taught at KCA since 2020 and has also taught in schools across Dallas. In 2021, she had the opportunity to teach in a phonics program and learned so much about helping kids learn how to read.
Hannah graduated from Lamar University in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in music education.
She is passionate about all things music, arts, and teaching. In her spare time, she loves song writing, calligraphy, graphic design, and traveling to new and exciting places.

Rosa (Rose) Querin is originally from San Antonio. After marrying her husband, Thomas Querin, she moved to Houston/Katy area in 2001.
Rose Querin has served at KCA since 2009, teaching in a variety of areas including PreK, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grades. In addition, one year she accepted a position as KCA’s PE teacher for multiple grades and has lead KCA’s After School program several different years.
Four of her six children are KCA alumni. She also currently has a granddaughter attending KCA.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her grandbabies, traveling, cooking for her family, and learning ASL.

Michelle Moffitt is originally from Texas and lives in Katy, TX with her husband, Jake, and their three children. She has served at Katy Christian Academy as a substitute teacher and support staff member, building strong relationships with students and families across multiple grade levels.
Michelle brings experience in adult education and homeschooling, along with a passion for helping students grow academically and personally. She is dedicated to creating positive learning environments that encourage confidence and lifelong learning.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, art, serving in church ministry, and spending time with her family. She is passionate about investing in the next generation and helping students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.


Ashley and her husband, Rev. Bryan Smith, moved back to Texas in 2021 after pastoring in Georgia for several years. She is happy to be back in her home state!
Ashley is an alumni of Life Christian Academy and began working at LCA immediately following her graduation in 2000. After taking some time to work in various pastoral roles with her husband, she went back to school and graduated from Liberty University in 2021 with a B.S. in Psychology. Her cognate was Christian Counseling. Currently, she is located in the Dallas area! She has held many teaching and leadership positions in various private schools and Sunday School departments within the past 20 years.
Her dedication and enthusiasm is directed to all children! She is devoted to helping them cultivate a lasting relationship with Christ and fostering a love for learning.

Debbie Meyer is originally from Lewisville, Texas and moved to Katy in 2009.
In addition to being a wife and a mom, she is also a pastor's wife. Her husband is Pastor of the Spanish ministry at their church.
In her spare time, she loves to draw, take pictures, and to travel. Debbie lives in Katy with her husband, Henry and their son, Gentry.

Maegan was a teacher at KCA from 2009-2026. She has served as the teacher for many grades including K5, 1st, 5th-8th, and now is currently KCA's Academic Advisor. She loves to help plan for various events at KCA such as ACTS Convention and Elementary Convention. Above all, Maegan's priority is to see students grow academically, spiritually, and socially.

Courtney is a teacher’s assistant working with 1st and 2nd grade students, where she loves getting to help young learners grow every day.
Outside of school, She enjoys photography. Capturing moments, people, and the little details that tell a story. She is a quality time person and loves spending time with the people who mean the most to her.
